BASIC PET RELOCATION PREPARATION

Pet Relocation to and from certain countries may take up to 7 months of advance preparation. Do start your Pet Relocation preparation early as soon as you know that you will be relocating with your pet to avoid delays in your pet's relocation.

Crate and travel preparation

• Take your pet’s basic measurements - height, length, width and weight so that an appropriate sized crate can be chosen for a comfortable and stress-free travel. (This is based on IATA requirements)
• Your pet must be able to stand upright and turn around comfortably in the crate.
• Allow your pet sufficient time to get used to the crate before travel.
• No feeding for at least 6 hours prior to travel.
• Provide your pet with its favourite toy or bedding in the crate.
• Water bowl to be attached to the inside of the crate with an attached funnel on the outside, just above the water bowl. (For easy feeding of water by the airline staff)
